Aquatic Life 5-Stage 200 GPD Hydroponic RO Water Filtration System

The Classic Hydroponics RO unit uses two 100 GPD membranes to achieve a rejection rate of 97-98%, unlike other units that employ a single less efficient 200 GPD membrane. This means less total dissolved solids (TDS) in the water. The unit includes two carbon chambers, ensuring the tap water is treated properly before reaching the membrane. The first chamber can also accept an optional KDF85 Chloramine cartridge, eliminating the need for an additional system if your water contains Chloramines.

The clear canister holding the 5-micron sediment cartridge makes it easy to monitor its condition and know when it's time for replacement, especially helpful in areas with high iron or silt content. The pre-plumbed Automatic Shutoff (ASO) will shut off the incoming water supply when the filtered water line is turned off, for example, when filling a barrel with RO water and the fill valve is closed.

The included float valve can be used to turn off the water when the container or sump is full, or the flow can be controlled manually using the on/off valve. The float valve requires a 7/8" hole to be drilled in the container for installation. All press fittings use the industry-standard 1/4" tubing size.

To prolong the membrane life and save money, the Classic Hydroponics unit features a built-in flush valve. Simply open the valve for a minute before making RO water, and this will help "flush" away buildup on the membrane.

Distributed by Aquatic Life USA, the Vontron Membranes can remove up to 98% of TDS from tap water. For longer runs, Aquatic Life's tubing designed for RO, RO/DI, and refrigerator applications can be used.

If you live in the NYC area, a prefilter for any RO unit is likely needed to remove larger sediment. A pen-style TDS Meter can be used to know your supply water and filtered water TDS. A long-life Brass Faucet Adapter Set makes connection to most sinks easy.

The AquaticLife 5-Stage hydroponic reverse osmosis RO unit provides up to 200 Gallons Per Day of filtered reverse osmosis water. It effectively reduces unwanted matter from water, such as chlorine, chloramines, heavy metals, and total dissolved solids.

The box includes a Canister Wrench, Membrane Wrench, two 100 GPD RO Membrane Cartridges, a Pre-Filter Sediment Cartridge, two Coconut Shell Activated Carbon Block Filter Cartridges, and other accessories.

The Activated Carbon Block filter provides excellent chlorine reduction, the Sediment filter captures and reduces unwanted matter, and the Carbon Plus Chloramine filter cartridge features high-capacity reduction of chloramines.

The unit's mounting bracket allows it to be hung and secured in place. An auto shut-off valve stops the incoming water supply when the outflow is turned off. A garden hose faucet adapter is included to connect to any standard 3/4" faucet.
